Melt-Banana is a Japenese noise-metal-ish band that simply kicks ass. They are impossible to describe, but I will try. The singer chirps/squalks at very high notes, and without deviating to far from one note, but not monotonically. The guitar and bass pound and screech away in the most perfect way, and the drummer manages to keep up with it all, beating, beating and beating! Here are some sound samples of Melt-Banana.
