Squaresoft

If you already didn't know, Squaresoft makes the *best* role-playing games in the world. If you havn't played them yet, you should. Here are some of my favorite artwork and music, mostly from Final Fantasy III, my favorite game. Even if you haven't ever played these games, or don't like them (how couldn't you?), you should still check out the art and music. It is all very beautiful.

Most of the art is from The UnOfficial Squaresoft Homepage. The music I have gotten from all over the web, but the best Squaresoft sound page I have encountered is Impresario's Sounds of Squaresoft. You should go to both of these pages.

Squaresoft Music

Here is some of my favorite Squaresoft music. Unless specified, all of the music here is from Final Fantasy III. If you have the patience and hard drive space, I suggest downloading the digital samples over the MIDI ones, because they are much higher in quality. The MIDI ones, however, are only a few K, and download in a few seconds. The Digital ones are about a Meg at most, and take a lot longer to download. If there is both a MIDI file and a Digital file, download the MIDI first to see if you like it. If you really like it, then you can dowmload the larger one.

Digital Music

These files are in .WAV format. Cant Download these, blame Dragonfire. I got these from: Impresario's Sounds of Squaresoft and Impresario got them from the Video Game Music Archive on Dragonfire. You can also go there Impresario's download other musics. I have only included a some here.

Final Fantasy III Digital Tunes:

Memories of Daryl-A lovely, solemn, menancholy peice. I just love this song, and you will too. It's my favorite out of all of these. Only 354K! Please download me!

Forever Rachel-A wonderful, wonderful song. My second favorite.

Solemn Throne-Another very touching peice.

Gogo Theme-An upbeat theme, with a jazzy twist. Very nice.

Draco-Suspenceful orcestra music with lots of strings

Flute Solo-A beautiful flute solo from the oprea house senario. Very good on loop.

Atma Weapon-Exciting battle music from when you face the Atma Beast.

Dancing in the Opera House-Nice waltz music from the opera house dancing scene.

Crazy Old Man Theme-Anytime someone a little bit insane comes into the game, this silly music plays.

Phantom Train-The Phantom Train music alternates from intense to peaceful many times for a nice effect.

Snow Walk-The inchanting introduction to Final Fantasy III

Zozo Theme-A cool, rock/jazz theme for a city of crime.

Techno de Chocobo-The Chocobo music from Final Fantasty III. A "must have" for all Chocobo fans.

Chrono Trigger Digital Music

Magus-Royal sinister boss music for a unque character.

The Darklich-This is from Secret of Mana. Really cool techno stuff.

MIDI Music
MIDI music isn't quite as good as digital music, but it's a hundred times smaller. These are in .ZIP format, which makes it a pain for me, but saves you a lot of download time. Arn't I nice guy? Most of these are only a few K, so download 'em like crazy. If you want the whole pack of them, just email me, and I'll send them along.

Top Three MIDIs

Dark Lich-From Secret of Mana, this is the coolest MIDI I have. Download it now. It's only 2K (like most MIDI files).
