<Jetsen> oy!
Jetsen begins to wake up.
Saroun searches the body.
<Jetsen> !
<Saroun> You're hurt.  Lie back and I'll help.
<Jetsen> who are ya?
<Saroun> My name is Saroun, let me help you.
<Saroun> I'm not going to hurt you.
<Saroun> Are you hurt?
<Jetsen> no. . .but i can't see
Jetsen tries to get up.
<Saroun> Eech, I don't know what I can do but I'll try.
Saroun begins getting out poultices and herbs.
<Saroun> What happened to you.
<Saroun> ?
<Jetsen> it might just be from the concusion.
Saroun begins to try to heal Jetsen.
<Saroun> How you get it?  Falling?
<Jetsen> yeah, i was. .
Jetsen thinks
* Saroun fails his spell
<Saroun> Sorry, that exhausts my skill.
<Exis-2> Jetsen:  He just unintentionally made your headache worse.
<Jetsen> yeah i was doing some reaserch and this guy came outta no where and attacked me.
<Saroun> What'd he look like.
<Saroun> ?
<Saroun> And what kind of research were you doing? I don't mean to pry but . . .
<Jetsen> um i donno. .i think he cast a darkness spell on my eyes.
<Jetsen> are my eyes black?
<Saroun> yes.
<Jetsen> yeah that was probably it then. .
<Saroun> What?
<Jetsen> i was researching the sounds trees make when falling and under what contiions they make those sounds.
<Saroun> Oh, sorry, it should wear off tho. 
<Jetsen> well thanks, do you mind if i travel with you until my sight returns.
<Saroun> No, just, no suprises. K?
<Saroun> Where were you heading?
<Jetsen> no where in particular.
<Saroun> What's your name?  You have mine.
<Jetsen> oh, I'm Jetsen
<Saroun> Hi Jetson, I have a secret to tell you but you must promise not to panic.
* Jetsen is a averge hieght human, with light brown/tan hair
* Jetsen has a mild tan
<Jetsen> yeah. . sure
<Saroun> I'm Tarashi.
Saroun steps back.
Jetsen laughs
<Saroun> What's so funny?
<Jetsen> hahah
<Saroun> I'm not joking.
<Jetsen> ok. . who at Acme put you up to that?
<Saroun> I said, I'm not joking.  
Saroun says something in Tarashi.
<Saroun> And what is Acme
<Saroun> ?
<Jetsen> it's the school where i learned magic.
<Jetsen> well.  .Saroun where are you headed?
<Saroun> Oh.  Again, I am Tarashi and you are human, bad match, for me.
Jetsen leans to the side and grabs a tree.
<Saroun> Lie down, you look faint.
Saroun eases Jetsen to the ground.
Jetsen sits down
<Saroun> Well, I was on my way to a Tarashi city but if I took you there . . .
Jetsen pulls out a small box
<Saroun> they wouldn't like it too much.  Do you have anything that might help that bumb on your head?
<Saroun> What's this?
Jetsen picks up a roll of paper.
<Jetsen> would you lite that candel in the box?
<Saroun> Ok.
<Jetsen> there is flint and stell indie too.
Saroun lights the candle after opening the box.
<Jetsen> ahg..
<Jetsen> it's worse than i though :\
<Saroun> What's wrong.  You look real bad and I can't heal much.
<Jetsen> never mind the cadel it's not safe for me to breath in the soke form this herb when i'm hurt this bad anyway.
Jetsen tries to put away the paper and lays down.
<Saroun> Anything I can do to help.
<Jetsen> i don't know
<Saroun> HELP!!!
Jetsen coughs some more
Saroun wipes Jetsen's mouth with his sleave.
* Ceicilly steps from a groth of bushes
<Saroun> Help. This man is hurt, baaad!
<Ceicilly> What happened? He took a fall?
<Saroun> Yeah, he's been coughing up blood.
<Saroun> Are you a cleric?
Ceicilly takes out a canteen of water and wets a cloth, cleaning off the blood
<Ceicilly> No, unfortunately.  I don't know any, either.  Is there anyplace we can take him?
Ceicilly puts the cool cloth on Jetsen's forehead.
<Ceicilly> Gee, a human and a Tarashi. I guess I fit right in.  (smile)
<Saroun> There's a town nearby, but it's a Tarashi settlement, and this is a human.
Jetsen looks at Ceicilly
<Jetsen> < weakly > woah, an angel </ weakly >
<Ceicilly> Careful.. you're in pretty bad shape
<Ceicilly> (to Saroun) The closest I can get is a good five hour walk. How close is the Tarashi town?
<Saroun> About two.
<Saroun> He's looking bad.  I'd take him but they might not let him in.
<Ceicilly> Could you go in and get supplies?
<Ceicilly> I doubt I would get into the town, either.
<Saroun> Yeah, I'll try to hurry.
Saroun leaves to find a Cleric in Kive, running.
<Ceicilly> We'd better come with you
<Ceicilly> (After all, it's ten hours for you to get there and back)
<Saroun> Alright, but he can't come in the city.
Saroun comes back.
Saroun tries to make a stretcher out of his cloak and two branches.
<Ceicilly> We can stop a little ways from the city
Ceicilly helps
<Saroun> Alright.
<Ceicilly> I just hope we don't do more harm than good moving him
<Saroun> Let's be really careful.
Saroun and Ceicilly carry Jetsen to Kive.  Trying not to bumb him on the way.
Jetsen probably mutters stuff about demi-physics o the way
Jetsen goes unconscious about half way there.
2 hours later....
<Saroun> He may not last long, we have to get him there fast.  Don't tell anyone about this place, on your honor.
<Ceicilly> I won't
<Saroun> Come on.
Saroun continues into the city with the others.
* Kive is a medium sized town.
* Ceicilly and Saroun are carrying the stretcher together.
* Ceicilly and Saroun are getting weird looks from people.
<Saroun> Out of the way, injured coming through!
The priest eyes Ceil and Sar suspiciously as they approach the church.
<Saroun> I found this man inthe forest, unconcious.  I would not have brought him here . . .
<Saroun> but he would die otherwise.
<Priest> *grumble*
<Priest> Bring him inside and put him on one of the beds.
Saroun does so.
<Kylock> What seems to be the...
<Saroun> He's dying.
<Kylock> Right.
Kylock walks over and examines Jet
<Kylock> ooh boy, this isn't good.
<Kylock> major concussion, internal bleeding, and he's in shock.
<Saroun> Can you help him?
Kylock nods.
<Kylock> Step back, please.
Saroun steps back and watches.
Kylock begins casting a spell.
Ceicilly steps back and watches.
* A beam of light comes in through the window and shines on Jetsen
Kylock stops chanting and catches his breath.
<Kylock> It is done.
<Kylock> He will be ok.
<Saroun> Thank you.
Kylock sits down, looking very tired from casting the Heal spell.
<Kylock> May I ask who you people are and what brings you here?
<Saroun> My name is Saroun and I found this man, Jetsen by name, unconcious in a ravine.
<Ceicilly> I'm Ceicilly...I came along to help them
<Saroun> He knows we're Tarashi.  The half-elf helped me.
<Saroun> I don't know here name.
<Kylock> May I ask who you are and what brings you here?
<Saroun> My name is Saroun and I brought this dying guy to you.  The Half Elf helped in the woods.
<Ceicilly> I'm Ceicilly....I came along to help
<Kylock> (to Ceicilly)  And you are...?
<Kylock> You two realize he risk you've put us at by bringing this human into the town.
<Saroun> He was unconcious for a while before we got here.
<Ceicilly> I myself have no one to tell.
<Kylock> You realize the risk you're taking by bringing a human into this town...
<Kylock> ...if he ever finds his way back here with his friends, we've all had it.
<Saroun> He didn't see his way here, he was under for a good hour and
<Saroun> messed up before that.
<Saroun> He may not even remember all this.
<Kylock> With the heal spell...  he probably will.
<Saroun> Oh.
<Saroun> Err.
<Saroun> Um.
<Saroun> I can escort him out, make sure he gets disoriented.
* Jetsen is playing possem.
<Kylock> how do you plan to do that?
<Saroun> Blindfold, blind him, take him to {fill in city here} and make him swear on honor.
<Saroun> He is a scholar.
<Saroun> He should know how to keep a secret.
<Kylock> ...should.
<Kylock> Well, see that he arrives at Silverwood.
Saroun looks at Jetsen
<Kylock> I wouldn't want you running around near a human city...  He should be safe in an elven town tho, and he'll be able to find his way back home from there.
<Saroun> I see the point.
Kylock turns and whispers something to another priest.
* Preist runs off
<Saroun> I'll do as you say, thank you for helping him.
Arashi arives a few moments later.
<Arashi> Did you need something Kylock?
<Ceicilly> I should think that his thanks for being alive should be incentive enough to keep quite
<Kylock> Yes...
<Kylock> I need you to do a service for me.
<Arashi> Name it my friend.
<Kylock> See that these three (he indicates the people by the bed) reach Silverwood unharmed.
Arashi nods.
Arashi looks at the bed.
<Arashi> A human?
<Kylock> He was wounded out in the forest... they brought him in here.
<Arashi> I see.
<Kylock> We're going to have to wait for him to wake up before you leave... the three of you can have lodging here for the night if you wish.
<Saroun> Thank you.
<Saroun> Thank you for the lodgings.  I will watch after him for now.
Saroun sits beside Jetson.
Ceicilly goes to her room
Jetsen pops an eye open.
Jetsen rolls off the bed when he sees Saroun.
<Jetsen> ah!
<Jetsen> *THUD*
<Saroun> Morning sunshine.
<Saroun> Are you better now?
<Jetsen> you ARE one of those?
<Saroun> I said I wasn't joking.
Jetsen looks for his STUFF
<Saroun> You're in a Tarashi city.  You cannot let this location get out.  I'm sure you're smart enough to realise the consequences.
<Saroun> We are not the monsters you think we are.
<Jetsen> Um well yeah.
<Jetsen> yeah that depends on how you define mosnters (spoken in a mater of factly tone)
<Saroun> Well, I've heard the rumors, "Eating Babes," "Killing livestock," "Canibals".
Jetsen looks to make sure all his STUFF is there.
<Saroun> We are actually quite peaceful.
<Jetsen> i'd buy the middle one maybe
Jetsen pulls out his box and takes one of the rolls of paper out.
<Saroun> We may kill to eat of our own livestock but we are increadibly similiar when it comes to stealing.
Jetsen lights it with one of the candels and takes a puff.
<Saroun> What are you doing, may I ask?
<Jetsen> it's a herb. . it's calming, relives stress.
<Jetsen> makes ya feel good.
<Saroun> Oh, may I have some, I've had a rough day.
<Jetsen> it's also habit forming :P
<Saroun> Oh, in that case.
Jetsen gets onather one from his box and gives it to Saroun
<Saroun> Thank you.
Saroun looks confused as to what to do with it.
<Jetsen> be carful though, there is no telling what it does to elves or yout kind.
<Saroun> I don't know what to do.
<Saroun> with it.
<Jetsen> you light one end and suck air out of the other., you breath in the smoke
<Saroun> Isn't that bad?
Saroun lights the roll.
Jetsen makes a ring or smoke to show off.
<Jetsen> might be bad, but doesn't kill ya.
<Jetsen> not if you don't get TOO much of it.
Saroun puts it in his mouth and inhales.
Saroun colapses coughing uncotrolably.
<Saroun> I *cough* think that was *cough* too much.
Saroun tries again and manages to hold it for a while.
Jetsen puts away his stiff.
<Saroun> Thank you, That does relax.
<Jetsen> so this is a Tarashi city?
<Saroun> Yes, It's called Kive.
<Saroun> But you leave tomorrow.  Blindfolded.
<Jetsen> i don't suppose they will let me poke around.
<Saroun> I'll have to ask.
<Saroun> stay here.
Saroun leaves to ask.
Jetsen notices no one is around
* Jetsen walks down the hall slowly seemgin what doors there are and trying to avoid being seen by people entering the hall or in rooms he might pass.
At the end of the hallway, it opens into the main hall.
There's a priest in there.
<Jetsen> hmmm. .
<Jetsen> can't get outside. .
Jetsen pulls his hood over his head and tries to hide his hands.
Jetsen is going to walk to the end of the hall and get a better view of the room there.
Saroun comes back five minutes later.
* A priest is tending to the alter...  he doesn't look very important.
* He glances at Jetsen, and then goes on about his business.
Jetsen walks to the door that leads outside
<Jetsen> < Whisper > cool :^) </ Whisper >
Jetsen heads for to the right
* Jetsen passes a number of houses, and up the street he sees a small (and well-maintained!) tavern, as well as a general store, and a few other important-looking buildings he can't identify in the dark.
Jetsen contiues down the main road
<Zygodactyl> the crow *caws* again and then flies a little further off.
Arashi takes the cloth that Kylock gave him and blindfold's Jetson.
<Arashi> Okay
Arashi waves his hand in front of Jetson to make sure he can't see anything.
<Arashi> Let's go.
Ceicilly walks next to Jetsen
Jetsen sings a song about hitting an animal made out of paper with a wooden stick on the way.
<Arashi> o_O
<Saroun> Arashi, try this instead.
Saroun almost pokes Jetsen in the eye, just pulling it.
<Jetsen> |D
Zygodactyl shows up soon after the party is out of town.  Carrying a Trident made of a Pure white wood.  It gleams in the mid-morning sun light.
<Arashi> :P
<Zygodactyl> shall we go?
<Arashi> Yes
<Jetsen> oh I hear Zygodactly :^D
* Shadowfax flies off into the woods
Jetsen waves in the oposite direction.
<Zygodactyl> yes its me.
<Ceicilly> Hey, Jetsen?
<Jetsen> yeah?
* The group hears something moveing in the bushes a little ways away from them
<Ceicilly> So, what happened to you anyway?
Zygodactyl turns
<Zygodactyl> shh!
Ceicilly cuts off in the middle of her sentance
Zygodactyl raises her trident.
alix rushes up behind the group, crossbow ready... "Who might you be?" eyes a suspicious hunter
alix is now known as Alix
* The noise was coming from Alix.
<Zygodactyl> I am Zygodactyl.  
<Zygodactyl> These are my companions.
Alix lowers his bow
<Zygodactyl> And you are?
Ceicilly watches with amusement
<Alix> Oh, I am Alix... the hunter... in training... sort of =P
<Saroun> I am Saroun, student of Malikiri.
<Alix> Would you believe me if I wasn't SURE of who I was?
<Zygodactyl> yes.
<Arashi> o_O
<Saroun> Umm, i guess, are you?
<Alix> Greetings Saroun, Zygodactly =)
<Alix> That is my quest.
<Ceicilly> Ceicilly. (nods at Jetsen) And Jetsen.
<Saroun> Quest?
<Jetsen> yeah i was attacked by a wizard.
<Saroun> Why wouldn't you know who you are?
Alix 's eyes pop out in disbelief as he spies Ceicilly...
<Saroun> Ahh, what did he look like?
<Alix> If I knew, I wouldn't be on a quest, would I? =1
Zygodactyl walks over to Saroun.
<Jetsen> i don't know he blinded me. .. .
<Alix> ... and who might this fair creature be?
<Ceicilly> Jetsen, you didn't see even a glimpse of him before he blinded you?
<Jetsen> hmm.  that seems to be a recurring theme this week. :P
Arashi chuckles
<Jetsen> no not realy
<Ceicilly> Oh. (Ceicilly glances up.)  I'm Ceicilly.  Hello
Alix thinks: ahh, she is both fair AND deaf
<Jetsen> he was wearing a black robe maybe, or something blck.
Zygodactyl chuckles
<Arashi> That tells us alot. :P
<Zygodactyl> she sits down next to a tree.
* Shadowfax comes back.  He perches on Zygodactyl's shoulder
<Alix> Might I ask, Zy, what brings you lot out here?
<Alix> and for that matter... where here IS? =1
<Ceicilly> I figured you'd first ask why one of us is blindfolded.  =P
<Alix> I thought it was a trendsetting thing =P
<Ceicilly> Good. You just keep thinking that.  ;)
<Alix> and WHY is he waving around a pinata stick?!!!
<Zygodactyl> Well, Alix.  We go to Silverwood
Ceicilly turns.
<Ceicilly> Put that thing down, Jetsen, you're going to hit somebody.  =P
<Zygodactyl> Jetsen, is a little "out of it" right now, so he should be ignored.
<Jetsen> nah it's perfectly normal for a multi-ethnic group of adventurers to lead a human around in the woods blindfolded. . 
<Jetsen> happens to me all the time.
Zygodactyl nudges Jetsen.
<Arashi> Riiiiiiiiiight. :P
<Zygodactyl> "shut up." she whispers
Alix tightens up the headband that covers his ears, realizing the company he's in
Jetsen shuts up
<Alix> Forgive me. I tend to shy away from large masses, and hence my group skills are not entirely in order.
<Zygodactyl> You appear to be lost.  Would you like accompany use to Silverwood?
<Alix> You mean he's NOT doing that to be trendy?
<Arashi> No. :P
Zygodactyl shakes her head no.
<Alix> well... on ONE condition
<Alix> You don't blindfold me and make me dress like THAT =P
<Arashi> ?
Zygodactyl smiles, "okay."
Arashi LOL!
Ceicilly chuckles
<Zygodactyl> Alix, your a ranger right?
Saroun laughs.
<Zygodactyl> Ceicilly are you one too?
<Ceicilly> Huh? No, not really, why?
<Zygodactyl> We need scouts out.
<Alix> yes, I am.
<Ceicilly> I know the forest pretty well
<Alix> i think
<Zygodactyl> then you two spread out in front.
Alix decides not to reach out and take it, on second thought
Zygodactyl turns to Saroun and Arashi.
<Zygodactyl> Arashi, you're a fighter right?
<Arashi> Yes
Saroun looks at Zygodactyl.
Alix eyes his new companions with uncertainty... mostly uncertain of himself.
<Zygodactyl> there a group closing from the north.  since your tarasi would you mind going and checking them out?
<Zygodactyl> see if there hostile or not.
Arashi nods
<Saroun> not at all.
<Zygodactyl> Saroun.  Prepare.  if they are hostile . . .
<Zygodactyl> lets proceed. then
<Saroun> I'll be OK
Exis-2 is now known as human
Saroun starts out and quickly disapears in the foliage.
* Shadowfax leaves again.
<Zygodactyl> i'll guide him
* A voice comes out of the woods
<human> Stop where you are!!
Ceicilly puts up her hood
Zygodactyl mutters, Ceicilly, Alix, and Arashi should be in the woods by now.
<human> my, my... this is interesting....
Zygodactyl looks toward the human.
<human> ...a pair of tarashi and a dryad with a human captive.
Arashi doesn't seem to be around anymore
Alix slides silently into the bushes
<human> Do you plan to eat him?
Ceicilly is already standing near the tree line if there was time
<Zygodactyl> human
<Zygodactyl> what do you want?
<human> your life, dryad witch!
human draws his sword.
<Jetsen> |O
Ceicilly draws her bow.
Jetsen hears the metal and he draws his staff
Zygodactyl take off jetsen's blind fold
* Four others jump out of the woods, swords and daggers drawn.
Zygodactyl prepares to fight.
Saroun aims a sleep dart at the human.
Ceicilly thinks . o O ( Dryad?)
<Jetsen> FIGHT!
<human> The human fighs for your side?  Then we shall have his life as well!!
Saroun shoots.
Zygodactyl turns and grabes some dirt.  Finging a eathern dart at the closes foe.
Alix fumbles hastilly to reload
<GM> [Saroun, your shot goes wide.]
* Alix aims crossbow at weapon in hand of human who spoke.
* Alix fires.
Jetsen is going to stay in back (delaying initiave until a human approaches him)
Alix thinks: boy, it took a long time for that crossbow bolt to travel =P
<GM> [one of the humans with a short sword goes after Saroun]
<GM> [Saroun manages to duck under the attack]
<GM> [another one with a short sword goes after Zygo, who also manages to dodge out of the way]
Zygodactyl smiles
<GM> [at this point Zygo manages to get her Earth Dart spell off]\
<GM> [the dart shoots up and hits him in the stomach, knocking him slightly off-balance]
<GM> [Ceicilly get's a shot off with her bow at the one who's attacking Saroun]
<GM> [...striking him in the side of the head...  he falls to the ground]
Zygodactyl will attempt to blend in w/ surroundings(blend spell) and surprise one of her foes.
Saroun will go after the next closest one.
Alix wonders: is that crossbow bolt EVER going to hit? methinks we hit a temporal anomaly
<GM> human #5:  (notices Arashi)   Think you can sneak up on me, eh?
Alix falls back about 10 feet
<GM> [he throws a dagger at Arashi, who manages to jump out of the way]
<GM> [Arashi stumbles over a tree root and barely manages to catch his footing]
<GM> [needless to say, he missed the attack]
<GM> [you notice one of the humans circling around toward the back of the party, towards Jetsen]
<GM> [Saroun throws a dagger at the guy circling around toward the back, cutting a major artery in his left leg]
<GM> [not a pretty sight.  anyways, he falls down clutching the wound.]
Zygodactyl takes a quick glance around, noting whats going on.
Jetsen summons a Long CYlinder of energy into being.
<GM> [with deadly accuracy, Jetsen hurls his staff at the leader, hitting him in square in the chest.]
<GM> [he coughs heavily, but staggers and manages to keep his balance.  again.]
<GM> [the man by Arashi takes another swipe with his dagger, and misses yet again]
<GM> [Alix's arrow (finally!) lets loose, and hits the leader in the forehead]
<GM> [he doesn't recover from that hit]
<GM> [Saroun's other dagger hits one of the two remaining humans in the arm]
<GM> [the humans (wisely) decide that the battle is not turning out in their favor, and start running off into the woods]
Ceicilly holds her fire
Saroun stands panting.
Zygodactyl sends Shadowfax in to the air
* There's one human lying on the ground, bleeding... he is on the edge of consciousness
Arashi put's his katana away
Saroun retrieves his daggers and searches the thigh guy.
Zygodactyl walks up to him.
<Zygodactyl> why are you here?
Ceicilly replaces her arrow and straps her bow back across her back
Arashi looks at the human
Saroun bandages him up.
Ceicilly gets out a bandage
<Zygodactyl> I do, using herbs gotten from Jana
<Saroun> I call dibs on this guy.
<Zygodactyl> nope.
<Zygodactyl> Saroun hold on.
Zygodactyl notes that she has had more expierence with this stuff.
<Zygodactyl> one of you, Alix, Arashi, Ceic scout ahead, please.
<Arashi> Okay
<Alix> Aye
Arashi heads off in the direction the humans took
Zygodactyl applies herbs to major wounds and gives him a sip of a healing potion.
Saroun looks at the other two humans.
Alix retrieves his bolt from the human's forehead
Saroun searches one of them.
Zygodactyl romoves all items that could possiblily aid the wounded man.  and puts them in her bag.
Alix makes a mental note of Zy's kind heart
Zygodactyl whispers, "Information is power."
