Race  : Saphina
	Saphinas are humanoid creatures that live within 16 light years
	of the Mapakin race.  They are very friendly towards the Mapakins.
	While humanoid in appearance, they really are more related to 
	birds in bloodlines.  This race evolved from the birds on the
	planet of Setzuni, approximately 16 light years from Zenturas.
	A few hundred years ago, both races discovered the others 
	existance.  Through communication, they both acquired the 
	technology to enable them to meet. This meeting occured about
	47 Zenturas years ago.  It that meeting they established trade
	rights and friendship between the two races.  Afterwards,
	technological advances enabled them to begin living on the other's
	world.  Serina was one such case.

History:
     Serina is the Princess of her world.  On her world, the Queens rule.
     Serina Worked as a ambassador for her people in the floating palace
     on Zenturas, the Mapakin homeworld.  She became interested in
     Mapakin knights and even watched them train.  She became friends
     with one in perticular, Striton Razoni.  He was the eldest trainee,
     and next in line to be promoted to Paladin class.  But she was most
     fascinated with his ability with magic.  Mapakins generally don't
     possess magic powers.  She nurtured Striton's powers by teaching him
     how to use them.  He learned quickly how to use his powers, and
     began applying them in his training exercises.  Soon, he gained
     enough skill to integrate it completely.  The Grand Paladin of 
     Zenturas was impressed and called for his immediate promotion the
     following day.  Striton never arrived.  Due to this, Serina went
     in search of him.  Following his magical trail, she discovered the
     portal that he had fallen through.  Notifying the authorities, she
     learned quickly that the portal went to oblivion, as none had ever
     came back through it.  Serina gathered a small search party, got
     provisions, and led the group through the portal.  When they landed,
     they discovered themselves in a new world.  They attempted to find
     a way out first, but found no other portals. They searched this world           
     for months, finding nothing. Serina picked up Striton's magic trail and         
     followed rumors that eventually led her to the town of Crescentia.              
     Hearing rumors of a winged knight, she went to the inn.  By now, all the         
     other members of her small party had died.  She had been traveling alone         
     for a great amount of time, following Striton's magical trail. As she
     approached the inn, she felt the trail grow very strong.  She knew
     that she had found him at last.

Appearance :
	Serina measures 8 cubits(about 8/12ths of a foot) tall.  She is
	very slender.  She always wears a blue robe.  This robe hides her
	true appearance.  Without the robe, her bird ancestry is quite 
	apparent.  Other than her talons on her feet and hands, she is 
	quite human in appearance.  Her eyes are always alert.  She also
	carries a 6-cubit long staff which is used for battle and walking.

Weapons / Provisions :
	Serina carries a 6-cubit long staff which contains many implements
	such as : A long dagger, fire-making equipment, flares, and food
	analyzers(for testing food for consumption)
	She also wears a long, blue robe for her travels, to mask her true
	ancestry.
	She carries a pair of solar beacons, which allows her to be 
	located anywhere in the universe.  These have failed to work, so
	Serina understood the differences in the universes.  They are
	still able to work, but only with one another.  The other becon
	used to be owned by another member of her team.  When activated,
	anyone with one will see where the other is.  This is how they
	are used to locate people.
	She also carries a long sword concealed under the robe.  While not
	magic, it is made of pure titanathril - Purium, as the Mapakins 
	call it.  Purium is next to impossible to break, and can even cut
	through diamonds if it is sharpened right.  However, this sword has
	not been sharpened recently and is quite rusty.
	In a medium-sized pouch hung on her belt, she carries her book of
	spells, a small focusing orb, and a magical tent that can shrink to
	fit in any container.

Personality
	Serina displays a kind and curious manner.  She never stops asking
	questions once she gets interested in a topic.  She is always 
	interested in information.  Although many on Nu are curious about
	her origins, she has remained very secretive for the past few 
	years.  She had nearly given up all hope of ever finding Striton
	until she reached Crescentia.  She was very depressed until this
	point, and all who remember her won't remember her smiling ever.
	She is usually very happy and even giddy at times.
