The site has been updated for the first time since the RPS was put on hold. Before anyone goes and starts getting excited, (Yeah, right, like anyone comes to this page.) DM is still on hold, and probably will be for a long time. This update actually came about following a link request by the owner of the new RPS Mystic Souls. (You'll find the link on the index page with the others.) In order to add his link without messing up the nice orderly updating system I have in place, I had to finish a few updates that I was holding off due to the fact that the RPG was on hold. The most interesting part is the new title graphic, everything else is so insignifigant I couldn't even think of them if I wanted to list them. Hmm. Is this my longest What's New? post yet? I think so. It's the most incoherent at any rate. Only two more days to go 'till...

The index page has been rearanged, and the link to the Realmwalkers has been added. Interlaced ImageMaps work because you can see enough of the graphic to know where you're clicking much more quickly than if the graphic were loading normally. Oh, yeah, you probably noticed the Golden Sage award. That was added quite some time ago, but it wasn't part of an update, so it never did appear in this what's new file.

Whoa, another update already! The background music is gone now, and in it's place is a partly-JavaScript-mostly-HTML Juke Box. It can be opened from the button on the front page, and the button on the 800x600 frame bar. (Sorry to all you 640x480 frames users, but there's no room left on your frame bar for anything more.) WebTV users, check out my requests in the WebTV Info file. Now, anyone want to hear about interlaced ImageMaps? ;)

Our Watcher of the South has been found. Let's have a warm round of applause for Tristan, the newest Dark Magick administrator. Also in the news, most of the large graphics have been interlaced to make it look like they load faster. Yes folks, that's the secret of interlaced graphics. They only look faster. But since looks count with graphics, who cares? (Actually, interlaced ImageMaps are more useful. Perhaps I'll explain that some other time...)

More updating and a new feature. The FAQ has been updated, and a mistake in the main page's "back" link has been repaired. And now for the moment you didn't know you had been waiting for. Read right this way as I unveil a new feature, avalible for the first time anywhere* online!: a Gamma correction page. Access it via the index page.* Please note that Devon Valroth has absolutely no idea if anyone else ever designed such a thing on a website, but guesses that since it's such a lame concept, he's probably the first. |

A pair of minor fixes: A typo in the admins list was corrected, and the Cardea link is now working.
Thursday, January 15th
| Members List updated again. All the admins are now correctly
listed, and the first character has been officially added. [Drayl an'Thor] Yes, I realize the Cardea link is blank. I lost the addy. I'll correct that problem ASAP. I'm going to say "A new imagemap is up, for what it's worth" again, and this time, it's really uploaded! |
Tuesday, January 6th
New links added for the NuRPG and Cardea. A new imagemap is up, for what it's worth. The map information file shouldn't be far behind. The members list has been updated. All current admins are now listed correctly. Sorry, no author lists yet.
Friday, January 2nd
Yet another slick new look for the index page, and a Members/Character list was added, though it's currently quite on the empty side. Co-commitant changes were made to all frames and links. Eastern Atlas section added. Also in the news, the Quick and Simple version was altered, unfortunately not for the better. Only the archive and FAQ are now available in non-graphical versions. The map could not be displayed as such for obvious reasons.
Thursday, December 11th
What's New? file created! Now you can track the progress of the page!! Yay!!! Also important on this day: The icon for the Archives is finally up, (Thanks to ProudDragon.) a new look for the 800x600 frame bar, (Thanks to Kaitee for finding the flaw in it.) and a slick new look for the index page. Yippers! Several points of interest on the map are also now identified.
